Brekendorf

Brekendorf ( Low German Brekendörp, Danish Brekentorp ) is a municipality in the Hüttener mountains in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

Brekendorf is about eleven kilometers south of Schleswig and fifteen kilometers north of Rendsburg on the A7, exit Owschlag / Brekendorf.

Due to the glacial deposits of the Ice Age, the region is very stony, which has always been difficult for agricultural use, but it also has some Moore.
