Brentwood is a town ( City ) in Williamson County in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It lies between the county - seat Franklin and Nashville.

History

In the area of the city, remains of settlements from the period before 1300, which are still visible in Primm Historic Park today find. Much of the city was on March 25, 1863 as part of the Civil War destroyed under the leadership of Nathan Bedford Forrest. After a recovery period of about 100 years, Brentwood was founded in 1969 as the City.

Economy and culture

The headquarters of the Ohio Valley Conference, a sports network of twelve regional universities from five states, is located here as well as the site Dreamtime and the global wireless network WinLink 2000.

In the local recording studio Rec Room Studio recordings for the album Headstrong High School Musical took place singer Ashley Tisdale.

The village is also located with the Deerwood Arboretum and Natural Area also a botanical garden.
