Brian McNamara

Brian McNamara ( born November 21, 1960 in Long Iceland, New York) is an American actor who is best known for his portrayal of Dean Karny in the TV Movie Billionaire Boys Club for which he as well as a Golden Globe Award Best Supporting Actor was nominated.

Career

One of his first roles was that of Greg in the TV series Family Ties, in which he played the boyfriend of Alex Keaton, who dies in a car accident. The author of this episode won an Emmy for his screenplay. McNamara had lead roles in numerous films such as, inter alia, Arachnophobia and guest appearances on television shows such as Seinfeld, New York Cops - NYPD Blue, St. Elsewhere, JAG - The Call of Duty, The OC, Star Trek: Voyager, Mad About You, Matlock, Ellen, Murder, She Wrote, Murphy Brown and Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

In 2004, he starred in the film A Promise Kept with. Since 2007 he plays one of the male leads in the television series Army Wives.
