Brian Schatz

Brian Emanuel Schatz ( born October 20, 1972 in Ann Arbor, Michigan ) is an American politician, a member of the Democratic Party. 6 December 2010 to 26 December 2012, he was Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii. Since 27 December 2012, he sits as a successor to the late Daniel Inouye in the U.S. Senate.

Early years and Private

Brian Schatz was born the son of cardiologists Irwin treasure in Ann Arbor, Michigan; he has a twin brother. At the age of two years, the family moved to Hawaii. There he attended the " Punahou School ", which at times even Barack Obama attended. Treasure went to the Pomona College in Claremont, California for his study of philosophy. Political career

In 1998, treasure was elected to the House of Representatives from Hawaii.
