Brigham is a village with 1065 inhabitants ( 2001) in the Lake District in Cumbria in North West England. The local church of St. Bridget's goes back to the time of the Normans. St. Bridget's was also the parish church of the village Eagle Field, the home of the famous from the Mutiny on the Bounty Christian Fletcher. The Fletcher family is buried in the church cemetery. The place had from 1847 to 1966 a railway station.
