British Royal Family

The British royal family is a group of people, which is closely related to the British monarch. Although there is no strict legal definition of who is a member of the royal family and who is not, are commonly reckoned those persons who the title of " His Majesty " or " Her Majesty " (His Majesty or Her Majesty, HM ), or either bear the title "His Royal Highness " or "Your Royal Highness " (His Royal Highness or Her Royal Highness, HRH ).

Under these conditions include the following persons to the royal family:

  • The British King or Queen of England
  • His or her spouse / Spouse
  • The widowed spouses of former monarchs
  • The children of the monarch
  • The spouses and widowed spouses of the sons of the monarch
  • The grandson of the monarch in the male line ( and their spouses and widowed spouses)
  • All the children of the eldest son of "Prince of Wales " ( until 1917 included all the great-grandson in the male line of the royal family)

  • Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (husband of Queen )
  • Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall ( eldest son of Queen and his second wife) Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge ( elder son of the Prince of Wales and his first wife ) Prince George of Cambridge ( the son of the Duke of Cambridge )
  • Prince Andrew, Duke of York (second son of Queen ) Princess Beatrice of York ( elder daughter of the Duke of York)
  • Princess Eugenie of York (younger daughter of the Duke of York)
  • James Mountbatten -Windsor, Viscount Severn (son of the Earl of Wessex )
  • Lady Louise Mountbatten -Windsor ( daughter of the Earl of Wessex )
