British Virgin Islands national football team
The national football team of the British Virgin Islands is the national football team of the British overseas territory of the British Virgin Islands and compete in CONCACAF. So far, it's the team not been able to qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup or the Football World Cup.
World Cup Qualifiers
As part of the qualification for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, the team met in the first round of the CONCACAF region to the national team of the Bahamas, in the FIFA World Ranking was nine places on the British Virgin Islands at the time. After two draws, the away goals rule, ruled in favor of the Bahamas.
In the first preliminary round of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying for the tournament in Brazil in 2014, the team failed after two defeats against the national team of the U.S. Virgin Islands, which thus was able to record their first victory ever.
