Britteny Cox

Britteny ( " Britt " ) Cox ( born September 29, 1994, Wodonga, Victoria) is an Australian freestyle skier. She specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines.

Biography

Cox grew up in Mount Beauty (Alpine Shire ) in the state of Victoria. In the nearby ski resort of Falls Creek, she learned to ski at the age of 18 months. As an eight year old she won her first Mogul Competition at the University Championships of Victoria. Cox was admitted to the funding of the New South Wales Institute of Sport and was first appointed to the Continental Championships European and Australian New Zealand Cup. Her debut in the Freestyle World Cup they had in Deer Valley on 14 January 2010. Two days later, she won there with number 29, the first World Cup points.

At 15 years and 138 days, Cox was the youngest participant of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, the Moguls competition it reached # 23 in the World Cup season 2010/11, two 18th places their best results at the 2011 World Championships she was in the Twelfth Dual Moguls competition. After several results in the midfield at the start of season 2011/12 Cox went on 3 February 2012 in the moguls competition in Deer Valley to third place and achieved their first podium result.
