Brombach (Schwäbische Rezat)

The Brombach is about 11.5 km long left tributary of the Swabian Rezat in the Middle Franconian district of Wissembourg -Gunzenhausen.

Course

The creek rises in the forest Rochester Leite southwest of the hamlet Haundorfer Gräfensteinberg. It flows in a southeasterly direction through the open fields Goose Buck and this is jammed to a series of small ponds. Now he passes the Brombach district, passes through an agricultural zone and in the forest Won Mönchhölz. There he is fed on its right side by the coming out of the forest corridor Reutsumpf Reutbach. It flows through the 3.56 -hectare nature reserve Brombach Moor and take the west Hühnermühle the Altmühl head on. From this point of Brombach is considered a water of the first order. It flows underground from from the Great Brombachsee and feeds the Mandlesweiher, a chain of ponds near the Mandlesmühle. It crosses the railway track rail line between Nuremberg and Augsburg, and then the state road St 2224 and leads eventually to the northeast of Plein field next to the Mäusleinsmühle at an altitude of 365 m above sea level.
