BSV Bad Bleiberg

BSV Bad Bleiberg is an Austrian football club based in the Carinthian town of Bad Bleiberg. He played from 2000 to 2003 in the sub-prime 1st Division and then went on due to financial difficulties in the satellite club of FC Kärnten called BSV Juniors Villach.

History

The BSV ( Mined sports club ) Bad Bleiberg was founded in 1952 with the club colors red-white- black. As Carinthian national champion of 1999, the club for the first time rose to the third-class Regional Center, which you could win before the ASKOE Traun in the first season 1999 /2000. In the following season, 2000/ 01 in the second class first division, the Bad Bleiberg managed almost the walkthrough up to the Bundesliga, because ultimately lacked the Second Cup just two points on champions FC Kärnten.

In the second division the following year 2001/ 02 the club played well with and was third and made especially in OFB Cup sensation, because the second division was almost stopped until the semi-finals by storm with 3:2. In the following year they brought with a 2-0 victory in the Cup against Rapid in the headlines. But in 2002/ 03 had the club in ninth place in the play-offs. My opponent was FC Blau- Weiss Linz. On the domestic space in Villach - the bathroom Bleiberger Three larch stadium was abandoned in the second division - put it a tired 0:2 for the visitors in the second leg we were back at the break 1:2. In a sensational comeback is secured with a 4-2 in the league.

After the relegation matches, the club was taken over by FC Kärnten, however due to financial difficulties and played the following season as a satellite club under the new name BSV Juniors Villach in the renamed First League second stage game. At the end of the season 2003 /04 descended sporty, the Club disbanded due to lack of funding and thus forgoing his rightful place in the regional center.

Since the season 2006/ 07 the successor club BSV Bad Bleiberg plays again in the House of Commons ( currently 2 Class B last league in Carinthia's Football Association).
