Bubbi Morthens
Bubbi Morthens ( born June 6, 1956 in Reykjavík ) is one of the most famous singers and songwriters in Iceland.
Morthens ' birth name is Ásbjörn Kristinsson Morthens, Bubbi being the affectionate form of Ásbjörn. He sings mostly Icelandic and is hardly known outside Iceland. He is best known as a member in several music bands like Utangarðsmenn, Capital and ego. He has sold more records than any other musician in Iceland.
Even his uncle Haukur Morthens (* 1924, † 1992) was known in his time as the Icelandic pop singer. On the plate " Í skugga Morthens " Bubbi sings his songs and even a posthumous duet with him.
