Bucegi Mountains
The Bucegi Mountains (also Butsch Adige mountains or the Butsch Adige, Romanian Munţii Bucegi, Hungarian Bucsecs - hegység ) is located south of the city Braşov on the eastern edge of the Southern Carpathians in Romania. It extends horseshoe-shaped south-east of Bran. The highest peak of the mountain is 2505 m high Omu Peak ( cisco ).
The well-developed mountain with an area of about 300 square kilometers has numerous mountain huts and numerous in the area of Sinaia ski lifts. The north of the Bucegi Mountains, including the Arctic cisco, is protected as a national park.
