Buchberg (Fichtelgebirge)
BWf1
The survey composed of granite porphyry is located south of the village Reicholdsgrün, a hamlet of the town Kirchenlamitz district Wunsiedel.
The 23 -acre forest is one of the few natural deciduous forest stands in the Fichtelgebirge ( Luzulo beech forest ), which is why the area is a protected natural monument and Natura 2000 area since 1938.
There is a memorial plaque for Arthur Münch, who had taken over here for decades, the forest and wildlife management on the north side of the granite wall.
