Buck Henry

Buck Henry ( born December 9, 1930 in New York City as Henry Zuckerman ) is an American actor, director and screenwriter.

Buck Henry was born the son of actress Ruth Taylor in New York. Already during his studies at Dartmouth College, where he began as a writer. In the early 1960s, he starred in several shows on American television as a comedian. As a scriptwriter, he made ​​his breakthrough with the television series Mini -Max (from 1965). The greatest success with a film script succeeded in 1967 with the feature film The Graduate, was awarded the Oscar for director Mike Nichols. Henry took over even minor roles as an actor, often in films and television series, for which he wrote the screenplay. Between 1976 and 1980 participated in the American television show Saturday Night Live.
