Buczyny

Buczyny ( German Buckoka, 1937-1945 Book mountains ) is a Polish village in the Lubusz Voivodeship, Żarski powiat which belongs to the municipality Trzebiel ( Triebel ).

Geography

The village is situated in the Polish part of Lower Lusatia between the valley of the Lusatian Neisse River in the west and the eastern wing of the Muskau arc conveniently located on the Droga Krajowa 12 and the railway line Lubsko -Bad Muskau.

In the village is the open air museum Buczyny, poln Skansen Luzycki Buczyny, with Ostlausitzer exhibits.
