Buffalo Bisons (PL)

The Buffalo Bisons of 1890 were an existing only for a year baseball team also short-lived Players' League. The Bisons with 36 victories were played out in the single season of the league, the last at 96 defeats and a win percentage of 27.3 %.

The future Hall of Famer Connie Mack was co-owner of the team. He invested all his savings, $ 500, to the club. He also played the only season as a catcher. The famous because of his deafness Dummy Hoy was also in the squad of the bison.

The name Buffalo Bisons today leads to confusion, that there were several teams with this name and returns, which acted partly at the same time.
