Bulevardul Unirii

Bulevardul Unirii ( German boulevard of the unit ) is the current name of the former "Boulevard of the Victory of Socialism", the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu was creating in the 1980s in Bucharest. The Boulevard (actually a " Avenue " ) is aimed at the same time erected monumental Palace of Parliament ( Palatul Parlamentului ), formerly known as " House of the People ".
