Bulgaria Air is a Bulgarian airline based in Sofia and based on the Sofia Airport.

History

The airline was founded in 2002 as the successor to the insolvent Balkan Bulgarian Airlines. By order of the Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications it was declared in November 2002 for Bulgaria's flag carrier.
