Bunde, Limburg

Bunde ( Limburg: Bung ) is a village with about 5800 inhabitants in the Dutch municipality of Meerssen far from Maastricht and in the immediate vicinity of the Juliana. By 1981, Bunde was a separate municipality.

A new church was built in 1960 by the architect Jozef Fanchamps after the Meuse built in Baroque old parish church had become dilapidated.

In the existing hamlet of six houses Voulwames the Geul flows into the Meuse.
