The Federal Highway 573 (abbreviated as BAB 573) - Short form: Highway 573 (abbreviated as A 573) - begins at interchange Bad Neuenahr- Ahrweiler Bad Neuenahr and ends behind in the provisional junction Altenahr. The continuation to Linz am Rhein over a bridge is planned, but is implemented as a two-lane federal highway in part 266.

The A 573 was originally planned as the southern end of the A31.
