Bunnyranch

Bunny Ranch is a Portuguese band that plays garage rock with various influences from soul, blues and rock music styles.

History

After dissolution of the psychobilly / garage rock band whose drummer Carlos Mendes tédio Boys ( " Kaló " ) founded in Coimbra with three other musicians the band. She first appeared they had there on 19 October 2001 as the opening act for Tav Falco.

Influenced by various styles, from blues to punk rock, beat and soul, to psychedelic, they took their first EP on 2003, published on the lux label from Coimbra. It was followed by numerous concerts, especially after their first album in 2005 more frequent in other European countries, including in the euro Sonic Festival in Groningen.

After João Cardoso for Filipe Costa came as an organist in the band, was released in 2006, Luna Dance album, which was also sold in Canada and the United States. In 2007, the band played on the Super Bock Super Rock Festival, and went on a tour of the East Coast of the United States. They participated in the Hed studios in New York City on the songs for the first of two contiguous EPs, which they published in 2008. The songs on the second EP they recorded on their return to the Portuguese Serra Vista Studios, produced by Boz Boorer. 2010 came with Augusto Cardoso, a new guitarist in the band, replacing André Ferrão, and it was followed by a new album, again produced by the Polecats and Morrissey musicians.
