Bureau of Public Enterprises
The Bureau of Public Enterprises ( BPE) in Nigeria has the task of privatizing state-owned companies and to commercialize and to reform sectors of the economy on a broad basis.
1998 was a huge waste of the study control means in public company (Public Enterprises). Then in 1999 with the "Public Enterprises ( Privatisation and Commercialisation ) Act " was created the legal basis for privatization and commercialization. The responsibility lies with the National Council on Privatization ( NCP). The BPE is responsible for the implementation and is divided into
- Industry (Industry and Manufacturing )
- Infrastructure and networks,
- Natural Resources,
- Oil and gas,
- Services,
- Transport and aviation.
Under the slogan BPE can get information about the current status in the Nigerian press and at the parties.
