Burnt Oak tube station

Burnt Oak is an aboveground station London Underground in the London Borough of Barnet. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 4 on the Watling Avenue. In the year 2011 there were 3.79 million passengers these of the Northern Line station.

The distance between Hendon Central to Edgware was opened on August 18, 1924, however, the commissioning of the station was delayed until October 27, 1924. Initially, it was still called Burnt Oak ( Watling ), the text in parentheses fell off around 1950. Architect of the station building was Stanley Heaps.
