Burrell Collection

The Burrell Collection is an originally private art collection with over 8,500 exhibits, in 1944 his hometown of Glasgow paid by the Scottish entrepreneur Sir William Burrell. The collection includes tapestries, glass, ceramics, sculptures and paintings from Europe and Far Eastern countries.

1983 a museum in Pollock Country Park was built for this collection, a few miles south of Glasgow city center located. In the same park, only 10 minutes away, located to the Pollock House another renowned art collection of paintings of Spanish master ( Goya, El Greco, Murillo ).
