Busia is a town in the East African state of Uganda with 42 596 inhabitants.

Geography

Busia is located in the eastern region of Uganda and is the capital of the district of the same name. The city is located 150 km east of the capital Kampala just before the border with Kenya on the highway towards Nairobi and about 30 km north of the shore of Lake Victoria.
