Buszkowice, Lower Silesian Voivodeship
Buszkowice ( German: Puffy joke ) is a village in the rural community Ścinawa in powiat Lubiński. The place is located in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland.
Geography
Buszkowice is located on the left bank of the Oder between Ścinawa and Chobienia, 65 km north-west of Wroclaw. Neighboring towns are Przychowa in the south and in the north Ciechłowice.
History
Buszkowice was first mentioned in 1253 as Good Boscovo. The Duke of Glogau Conrad II sold it to the Breslau Bishop Thomas I. Buszkowice was owned by the bishops until the secularization in 1811.
