The constable is a mountain 530 meters above sea level. NN high, wooded elevation in the northern part of the Franconian Heights in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria).

The mountain rises about 3 km south of market Bergel and lies on the southern edge of the municipality. At its western end is the district Ermetzhof, northeast the federal highway runs 13 Since 1952, is located on the mountain of the same name constable mountain station of the Bavarian Radio.
