The boxwood -like ( Buxales ) are an order within the angiosperms ( Magnoliopsida ). Take within the Eudikotyledonen a basal position.
Description
There are woody or herbaceous plants. The leaves are entire. The flowers are unisexual, the species either monoecious ( monoecious ) or dioecious ( dioecious ) getrenntgeschlechtig. Otherwise, the group is heterogeneous right.

To order the book tree -like are only two families:
- Boxwood plants ( Buxaceae ), including Didymeles
- Haptanthaceae
