Buzz (airline)

Buzz was a British low-cost airline based in Stansted Mountfitchet and based on the London Stansted Airport. It was acquired by Ryanair in 2003 and went on in this.

History

Buzz was founded in 2000 by KLM UK, a subsidiary of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and took over some stretches of the former Air UK and their fleet of BAe 146 Later six leased Boeing 737-300 aircraft were joined.

Buzz was never able to get into the black and the Company in 2003 for the price of 30 million euros has been sold to Ryanair and Buzz Stansted Ltd. renamed, the should continue to operate the routes and aircraft of the former Buzz.
