C. J. Dennis

CJ Dennis, completely Clarence Michael James Dennis ( born September 7, 1876 in Auburn, South Australia, † June 22, 1938 in Melbourne) was an Australian journalist and writer.

Dennis describes in his humorous and satirical narrative poems the adventures of his populist rogue figures.
