Christopher John " C. J. " Wilson ( born November 18, 1980 in Newport Beach, California) is an American baseball player in the major leagues. Currently, he plays as a starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Career

Wilson was founded in 2001 as a 141 player elected by the Texas Rangers in the fifth round of the MLB Drafts at all and used in the Minor Leagues. In 2003 he had the Tommy John Surgery undergo and, therefore, fell for the 2004 season from. In 2005, he played only at Double-A Frisco Roughriders team before he was appointed to the Team of the Rangers. In 2006 he was again sent back to Triple -A team of Rangers, but returned in July to the Rangers. Here he was mainly used in the bullpen and came in 2007 and 2008 as Closer for use. The role of the Closers took over in 2009, Frank Francisco and Wilson was reinstated as a relief pitcher in late innings. For the 2010 season, Wilson took over his former role as a starting pitcher. With a WL of 15-8 and an ERA of 3:35, he showed very good performance and was used by the Rangers in the postseason as the second pitcher behind Cliff Lee. He won Game 2 of the ALDS against the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010. In Game 1 of the ALCS in 2010, he was first a run in the seventh inning of the New York Yankees and was taken in the eighth inning of the game, after he had delivered two hits. In Game 5 of the series, he was already in the first three innings for five runs of the Yankees and got the Loss.
