CA Câmpulung Moldovenesc was a Romanian football club from Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Suceava County. He played from 1952 to 1953 in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A.

History

CA Câmpulung Moldovenesc was founded in summer 1948 as Clubul Sportiv Armata ( German Army Sports Club) in Iasi and played in the season 1948/49, in Divizia C. The league was after the first round but already dissolved and the clubs were playing in their regional championships on. At the end of the season, CSA Iaşi could not prevail against local rivals CFR Iasi in the two relegation matches for Divizia B. In the season of 1950 the club but managed under the leadership of coach Gheorghe Gheorghian then the rise in the Divizia B.

Early 1951, the team was moved to Câmpulung Moldovenesc and traded from now on as Clubul Sportiv Casa Armatei ( German Sport Club House of the Army ). In the season 1951 under coach Eugen Mladin succeeded the walkover in the Divizia A. There, the team Francisc Ronnay was trained and came into the 1952 season in third place. Halfway through the season 1953, the club was in second place in the league, as all army sports clubs of Romania were resolved to CCA Bucharest (today's Steaua Bucharest). The best players of the club then changed to CCA.
