CA-Telon

TELON, later called CA- Telon, is the first commercial program generator for commercial applications. The programs are designed with TELON and TELON generated from the design in each case a source text into a conventional mainframe programming language.

TELON is sold and maintained by the company CA Technologies. When it was (at the time of the company Pansophic ) first introduced in 1981, it was the first CASE tool on the market.

The tool usually runs on IBM mainframes under the MVS operating system or z / OS and usually generated COBOL or PL / I sources.
