The Čabranka is only 17.5 km long left tributary of the Kupa. It forms on the largest part of its course the border between Slovenia and Croatia.

The Čabranka rises in 546 m below the hill Obrh at Čabar in the Primorje - Gorski Kotar in Croatia, at the border with Slovenia. It opens at 287 m height at Osilnica in the Kupa (Slovenian Kolpa ).
