Cacá Bueno

Carlos Eduardo Santos Galvão Bueno Filho, known internationally as Cacá Bueno, ( born January 24, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian racing driver. Bueno is a five -time champion of the Stock Car Brasil (2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012 ) and two-time overall winner of the Trofeo Linea.

Career

Bueno began his motorsport career in 1988 in karting, where he was active until 1992. In 1997, he got into the touring car racing, and immediately won the championship title in the light class of stock car Brasil.1998 he moved to the South American Super Touring Car Championship ( SASTCC ), in which he drove a Peugeot 406. After he had become in his debut season runner-up, he won the 1999 championship title. In 2000, Bueno in the TC2000, an Argentinean Touring Car Championship. He competed in this series in a Peugeot 306. After he finished his first season at the 26th overall, in 2001 he was fourth in the drivers' standings.

In 2002, Bueno in the Stock Car Brasil. He joined the first four years in Chevrolet racing car. First two years in Vectra, then two years in Astra. After the third place in his debut season, he was runner-up three times in succession. In the four years at Opel Bueno scored a total of eleven victories. In 2004 and 2005 he participated in a Honda Civic also participate in a race each of the TC2000.

In 2006, Bueno within the Stock Car Brasil on a Mitsubishi Lancer. With four wins from 12 races he won for the first time the championship. He also defended the overall victory in the Trofeo Linea with five wins from twelve races. In addition, Bueno took 2011 for Chevrolet at the season opener of the WTCC in part. He scored a podium with a third place ranking and finished at the end of the season 15th overall. In the TC2000 he also completed a guest stint.
