Caddo

The Caddo were a confederation of Native North American peoples in the area of the Red River in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

Late 17th to early 19th century demanded several epidemics many fatalities.

1874, the remaining Caddo merged to form a single tribe, the Caddo Indian Tribe Unified. Today, the majority lives in Oklahoma.
