The Cadjehoun Airport is an international airport in Benin. It is located about five kilometers west of the largest city Cotonou. There is a terminal with some car rental counters, restaurants and coffee shops, information desks, as well as hotel reservation counters.
There are buses and taxis run regularly to the city. The journey by taxi usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Incidents
Flight from Cadjehoun to Kufra (Libya ) of the " Union des Transports Aériens de Guinée " (franz: United Air Transport of Guinea) on 25 December 2003, a Boeing 727 crashed after takeoff at the airport in a bay. 151 of the 163 passengers and a passerby were killed on the ground.
Airlines
It operate mainly African Airlines Cadjehoun. To Europe only Air France fly to Paris and Brussels Airlines to Brussels.
