Caesar Jenkyns

Caesar Augustus Llewellyn Jenkyns ( born August 24, 1866 in Builth Wales, Wales, † July 23, 1941 ) was a Welsh footballer who was active for Small Heath, Woolwich Arsenal, Newton Heath FC and Walsall.

International Jenkyns played eight times for the Welsh national team and was their captain. Jenkyns was the first Arsenal player, who received a convocation to the national team after March 21, 1896, he was against Scotland on the court. After his active football career he became a policeman in his native Wales. Caesar Jenkyns died in 1941 at the age of 74 years.
