Callicrates

Callicrates (c. 470 BC; † 420 BC) was an ancient Greek architect.

From 449-425, he was one of the major builder in Periclean Athens. Next to the Parthenon, which he built with Iktinos, he designed the Nike temple on the Acropolis around 448 BC It may have also built the similar, but slightly larger temple on Ilisos which is identified with the sanctuary of Artemis Agrotera.
