Camacupa
Province
Camacupa is a city in the Angolan province of Bié with about 19,000 inhabitants.
History
During the Portuguese colonial period to the independence of Angola in 1975, the city was named after Joaquim José Machado ( 1847-1925 ) Vila General Machado.
Management
Camacupa is the seat of an eponymous district ( Municipio ) in the province of Bié. The county has about 160,000 inhabitants in an area of 9469 km ².
