Camilla Dalby

Camilla Dalby (born 15 May 1988 in Randers) is a Danish handball player.

Career

Dalby began four years playing handball at Spentrup IF. Then they played for Randers Freja, who later merged with other clubs to Randers HK. On September 16, 2006, it was first used in the game against Slagelse DT in the highest Danish league. With Randers she won the 2010 EHF Cup and the 2012 Danish championship. In the 2012/13 season she scored with 187 hits, the most goals in the Danish Damehåndboldligaen. In the summer of 2013 she moved to Montenegrin association zrk Budućnost Podgorica.

Dalby played 105 matches for the Danish national team, in which they could achieve 299 hits. For the first time they took part in the 2008 European Championships with Denmark. She then took part in the 2009 World Cup. In addition, she served on the Danish squad at the European Championships in 2010, the Denmark ended with the 4th Place. A knee injury prevented her participation in the World Cup 2011. During the Olympic Games in 2012 she was again to the Danish squad, with whom she finished ninth. After recovering from injury was not due form for the Euro 2012 nominated. At the World Cup 2013 Dalby was at first only in the extended squad and was only noticed in the quarterfinals to the Danish squad. With Denmark, she won the bronze medal. Then she finished her international career.
