Cammie King
Eleanore Cammack " Cammie " King ( * August 5, 1934 in Los Angeles, California; † 1 September 2010 in Fort Bragg, California ) was an American actress and voice actress.
Life
King played in 1939 in the movie Gone with the Wind Bonnie Blue, the daughter of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. The role was originally intended for her sister Diane, who was, however, already become too large at the start of filming. For the film, King had to learn to ride. Although she had only a minor role in the film, she was popular and had several fan clubs. After Gone with the Wind, she worked in the film industry only once as a speaker; she spoke Feline in the Disney animated film Bambi, who also became a great classic films.
Cammie King was the mother of two children. Her stepfather Herbert Kalmus was the founder of the most important Technicolor company, which was also in Gone with the Wind on the set. King died on September 1, 2010 at the age of 76 from lung cancer.
