Campora San Giovanni
Campora San Giovanni ( San Campura Giuvanni or Campura Santu Janni ) is a fraction of Amantea in the Italian province of Cosenza, on the border with the province of Catanzaro (Calabria ). The town has 7,200 inhabitants.

Economy
Important sources of income of Campora San Giovanni are agriculture and tourism. Since the mid-20th century the red Tropea onion is grown in the region, which is also an important export product. In the resort a holiday village was built. Built in 2003, the port which connects the city with the Aeolian Islands, is part of the tourism infrastructure.
Traffic
Campora San Giovanni is situated on the state road SS 18 and can be reached by rail. About the A3 motorway, which links Salerno Reggio Calabria, you can reach is 25 km from Lamezia Terme Airport.
Cultural events
Every year, the Feast day is celebrated in honor of St. Francis of Paola from 1 to 3 September, accompanied by fireworks.
