Câmpulung la Tisa
Câmpulung la Tisa (Hungarian Hosszúmező, Ukrainian Довге Поле / Dovhe Pole) is a town in Maramureş County in Romania.
Location
Câmpulung la Tisa is located in the north of Romania on the border with Ukraine in the Tisza Valley. Through the village the national road leads 19 Approximately 12 km to the west Sighetu Marmaţiei.
Population
In the census of 2002 2484 inhabitants were registered, of which 79 % Hungary, 17.1% Romanians, Ukrainians 0.97% and 0.12 % were German.
Infrastructure
In the town there are two schools and a kindergarten. 850 households are reported in 870 houses.
Traffic
The National Highway 19 passes through the village. Buses to Sighetu Marmaţiei. In the south of the village is the railway station on the railway line Debrecen Sighetu Marmaţiei. The railway border crossing in the Ukraine after Teresva and the passenger after Sighetu Marmaţiei were set in 2007.
Economy
