Canadian Centre for Epigraphic Documents

The Canadian Centre for Epigraphic Documents (Canadian Centre for Epigraphic Documents, CCED ) has its headquarters at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Ancient History.

The center was established in February 2010 as a non- profit organization with the aim to archive epigraphic material cataloging and digitizing. The center also offers a multilingual website, currently available in English, German, French, Latin and Mandarin.

The KZED is currently owned by over 3000 high fives, some of which may be the only surviving copies of damaged or missing inscriptions. The squeezes come mainly from Greek inscriptions from the 7th century BC to the 4th Jhd.n.Chr. The center thus also belongs to the largest collections of epigraphic documents of North America.
