Canadian Olympic Committee

The Canadian Olympic Committee (French: Comité olympique canadien, abbreviated as COC ) is the name of the Canadian Sports Association, which represents the athletes in the country at the International Olympic Committee ( IOC) and the Pan American Games. The association was founded in 1904 and incorporated in 1907 as an IOC. The COC also represents a selection of Canadian cities that submit their applications for the Olympic or Pan American Games. Currently, the COC represents 470 athletes and membership is divided into three areas: Executive Committee, Board of Directors and General. The COC has its headquarters in Toronto. The current President of the COC is Michael Chambers.
