Canary melon

Yellow Canary, also yellow honeydew melon, or Tendral Amarillo Amarillo, is a commercial type of muskmelon (Cucumis melo ) and characterized by its yellow fruit. It is often also known as cantaloupe. This trade Type is not nachreifend and belongs to the variety inodorus.

Features

The fruit is oval to elliptical, with a ratio of the height to diameter of 1.1 to 1.9. The fruit is 1.5 to 3 kg on average. The color of the surface is to mature bright yellow to orange - yellow. The flesh is greenish- white to light orange towards the seed cavity.

The fruit stalk does not dissolve by itself and is usually present in the fruit.
