Canberra International

The WTA Canberra ( officially: Richard Luton Properties Canberra International), named after the main sponsor and as Richard Luton Properties Canberra International, was a WTA tennis tournament in the category IV, which took place in the Australian capital Canberra, respectively, during the week before the Australian Open.

Was wearing the women's tournament at the National Sports Club in Lyneham district on hard courts. It took place in each case a single and a double competition. The winner of the individual tournament received $ 16,000 in prize money and 95 points for the world ranking.
