Caniapiscau Regional County Municipality
Caniapiscau is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the Côte -Nord administrative region and consists of six subordinate administrative units (two cities and four unincorporated areas). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Fermont. The population is 2904 and the area of 79253.60 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 0.04 inhabitants per km ².
