Cannelloni

Cannelloni ( Italian, Spanish Canelones ) are large, thick tube pasta from durum wheat. They are made by rolling up dough sheets into tubes. Cannelloni are an Italian noodle variant ( pasta), which is traditionally served with ragù alla bolognese. Cannelloni but can also be filled with vegetables, cheese, meat and fish. The filling is placed in the tube uncooked noodles, which are then placed in a casserole dish and baked in the oven.
